Synopsis
Zarina was trained under her grandmother in the ways of alchemy while Vel was taught in the highest school of arcane arts in Surisla. This pair of alchemists finds themselves at odds upon arriving in the merchant city of Shardfast. Both declare themselves the greatest alchemist on the crystal coast; their rivalry is the stage, their passion the verse and their determination the act that they will use to fight against a city that is on the brink of banning all forms of magic.
With an act of the gods building on the horizon will they be able to come together to save the ones they love?
